Do we need to verify DPP compliance for all products we sell?

Not necessarily. Current regulations target specific categories — like batteries, textiles, and electronics — but the scope is expanding. If you import or distribute regulated products in the EU/EEA, you’ll be expected to support or display DPPs. It’s smart to prepare now. Please visit our Academy-section for more insights.

What happens if a product doesn’t have a valid passport?

You may not be legally allowed to sell or import it into the EU/EEA. Our platform helps you flag these cases early — before they create legal or operational risk.

What kind of data do we need to provide?

If you are the economic operator responsible for placing a product on the market (e.g. as an importer or private-label brand), you may need to submit or verify product data. In most cases, our role is to help you host, validate, or connect to the DPPs provided by your suppliers.

Can we link to supplier DPPs instead of hosting them ourselves?

Yes. Our platform supports referencing external DPPs via secure URLs — you don’t need to host everything locally. We also offer fallback hosting options to ensure continuity if a supplier’s link breaks or becomes unavailable.

How do we ensure the DPP data is valid and compliant?

We perform basic validation checks on data structure, required fields, and regulatory format.

Do we need to connect our internal systems to yours?

Not immediately. You can start by uploading DPP data via spreadsheets. Later, we support integration with your existing PIM or ERP via API (when available). We’ll guide you through the process at your pace.

Is the DPP data visible to everyone? Can we control who sees what?

Most data in a DPP is intended for public or customer-facing access. Sensitive details are typically excluded. While access management features are evolving, our platform ensures a baseline of privacy and data integrity.

Is your platform secure and GDPR-compliant?
